Audi Downtown Toronto remains committed to our community, our customers, and our employees. We are keeping a close eye on the ever changing government and public health official mandates and continue to modify our business operations accordingly to comply with the new guidelines to help reduce the spread of the virus.

What measures are being taken to limit the spread?

Audi Downtown Toronto has put the health and safety of our customers and staff at the forefront of our business operations. We have gone through each department and implemented our own safety standards, in addition to the new health measures implemented by our government. We provide alcohol-based sanitizers throughout the workplace and common areas including showroom and service areas. Additional cleaning and disinfection schedules have been implemented for frequently touched surfaces, such as door handles, railings, work stations and touch screens.

COVID-19 preventative guidelines are posted and distributed to all employees and can be found in the dealership common areas. We respect our customers and practice social distancing by maintaining a 6-ft distance as well as modifying our processes to incorporate several no-contact practices including digital payment technology.

As per the most recent government mandate, all customers and staff are required to wear a mask when entering the dealership and during their visit.

What new protocols are in place for the Sales Department?

If you are interested in a new or pre-owned vehicle, our staff can accommodate a complete beginning-to-end sales experience without you physically visiting our dealership. Let us know your vehicle of interest and we will prepare all required documentation and correspond digitally for your seamless vehicle purchase journey. Upon request, we can also offer a remote and virtual sales presentation by video chat (FaceTime/WhatsApp), and remote test drives at your home or office should you prefer not to visit the dealership for this step.

Our showroom is open and ready for you with same-day appointments available- please contact us ahead of your visit to make an appointment to learn more and experience our amazing Audi model line-up. A member of our sales staff will ensure the vehicle is sanitized upon your arrival, and we can also supply gloves on request to meet your comfort level. Please note our vehicle delivery process has changed to meet the COVID-19 guidelines limiting contact and maintaining social distance. This now includes digitally signing all documentation prior to pickup of the vehicle, and virtual vehicle tutorials can be arranged in lieu of in-person demonstrations at this time.

What new protocols are in place for the Service Department?

Audi Downtown Toronto understands that your vehicle needs to be maintained and running well in order for you to maintain your lifestyle. Due to recent government’s protocols, our service department is open by appointment only. Please call us at (416) 961-2834 to schedule your appointment. We have altered our daily procedures to ensure we uphold the health and safety of our customers and staff.  This includes booking appointments with no more than four clients for every 15 minute interval to reduce the number of people inside the Service Department at any given time. We’ve also stationed someone at our drive through entrance to check each vehicle as they approach the drive through and confirm clients’ appointment times.

If you are early or late, you must park your vehicle outside and wait until we are able to see you inside, or you are given the option to sign a pre-work order and not come into the dealership, and a Service Consultant can reach out to you following.  To minimize the number of customers within our facility, our waiting lounge is temporarily closed. As a courtesy, we are offering complimentary shuttle services for your service visit and in limited capacity we can also provide valet pick-up and drop-off for your vehicle from your home with advanced reservation. Shuttle rides must be booked with your appointment and only one client can be in the shuttle at a time, therefore please expect extended wait times for this service. Shuttles are also disinfected after every ride and Shuttle Driver’s are wearing masks and gloves. All staff inside your vehicle are wearing PPE, and your vehicle will be disinfected before our staff begin working on it, and again before you pick it up along with the keys before they are given back to you. We also offer paperless invoices and a secure payment option via text message to further provide a contactless experience.

What new protocols are in place for the Parts Department?

While we have installed a countertop shield for our in-store purchases to protect both you and our staff members, in-store visits are prohibited until further notice. For a contactless experience, we are pleased to arrange curbside pickup and drop off, and are happy to assist you over the phone or email parts@auditoronto.ca.  We’ve also implemented a secure payment option via text message, and are actively replacing a protector on the visa machine after every use.

We remind all customers that if you have travelled internationally or are experiencing any cold or flu symptoms to defer your appointment or visit to the dealership until 14 calendar days later.
