The Recent Upgrade Still Feels Fresh

For 2026, the S3 carries forward the major updates introduced with its recent refresh. These include stronger engine output, a rear torque splitter and a more expressive exterior. Audi has not announced another complete redesign for this model year, so the focus remains on improvements that recently changed the car’s character.


The front and rear fascias have clear S details. A Black optic exterior is standard. Black quad exhaust tips and standard 18 inch wheels finish the look. Available 19 inch wheels, red brake calipers and Matrix LED headlights add more visual impact. The Matrix lights can reduce glare for other road users while keeping useful light around them.

Power That Wakes Up Quickly

A 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder engine produces 328 horsepower and 295 lb ft of torque. It is paired with a seven speed S tronic transmission. The S3 can reach 100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, so merging and passing require little effort.


The transmission includes a manual mode and steering wheel mounted shift paddles. Standard quattro all wheel drive can move power between the axles as grip changes. The rear torque splitter can also distribute power between the rear wheels. This helps the S3 feel balanced through corners.


Available Advanced Handling packages add S sport suspension with damper control and a choice of 19 inch wheels. These packages are worth considering if a sharper response is wanted.


A Cabin With a Clear Point of View

The interior feels sporty without becoming harsh. Front sport seats with integrated headrests are included. Available Fine Nappa leather with diamond stitching gives the cabin a richer finish.
Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto make phone connection simple. Available Audi virtual cockpit plus uses a 12.3 inch HD display with S specific layouts. An available head up display places key information closer to the driver’s natural view.
Music can be upgraded through the available SONOS sound system. It uses 15 speakers, a 16 channel amplifier and 680 watts of power. Audi connect also offers intelligent navigation, remote vehicle services and selected security features.

Support That Stays in the Background

Lane departure warning can alert the driver if the S3 begins to drift. Audi pre sense front can warn of a possible collision and may apply the brakes. Standard high beam assist can switch the high beams on or off based on surrounding traffic.
Audi side assist watches the blind spot and gives a warning in the exterior mirror. Available adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go can manage a set following distance. It can also bring the car to a complete stop when traffic slows.
